Tai-Hua is involved in two subdetector projects at LHCb: the upgraded vertexing and tracking detector, Mighty Tracker, and the charged hadron identification detector, RICH. She plays a pioneering role in the geometry simulation of the Mighty Tracker, extending her expertise to material budget estimation, thermal expansion simulations, and more. Additionally, she works on sensor testing and characterization for both HV-CMOS sensors for the Mighty Tracker upgrade and SiPMs for RICH.
Beyond her research, Tai-Hua is responsible for the PPD exhibition room, overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of exhibit items, as well as organizing and guiding visitor tours.
