​Dr Sam Harper is a particle physicist working on the CMS experiment at CERN. His interests are in electron/photon reconstruction/triggering/identification, general triggering and exotic searches.

He has strong expertise in:

* general c++ & python software development
* FPGA programming using HLS
* GPU programming
* web application development, particularly those integrated with the CERN PaaS and SSO
* electron and photons at CMS
* triggering at CMS
* exotic searches using high energy e/gamma objects​​​
