Jacob Linacre is an experimental particle physicist on the CMS experiment. He works on beyond the standard model (BSM) physics, connecting with phenomenologists via the NExT Institute, and is an expert in top quark physics. He also develops software and algorithms for the Phase-2 upgrade of the CMS level-1 trigger.​
